I went to Denmark last week to visit Odense and Copenhagen. In Odense I visited Moby Disk, it’s worth a visit! They’ve got a lot of vinylrecords (new and second hand) and cd’s, in every genre. I bought:
Ramallah – Kill a celebrity
Beastie Boys – Pauls Boutique (nice reissue)
Kool Moe Dee – Knowledge is king
In Copenhagen I went to Sound Station (They’ve got a great collection!!!), Accord, Sex Beat Records (for the metalheads) and a several other stores. Later at home I found out I missed some good stores like Mint Records and Run For Cover Records. I only bought:
Fat Boys – Coming back hard again
So the score was pretty bad, but there was a good reason: that vinylrecords are so incredebly expensive! For a new record or a second hand classic you’ll be paying at least 20 -25 euros!
For the vinyljunks who want to visit (capitols in) Scandinavia and buy records: Copenhagen is worth a visit, but is expensive. I can recommend Stockholm, lots and lots of vinyl and the prices are much better!
