Enjoying the weekend a bit, played a bit more of Red Dead Redemption. But I’m afraid it’s back to work now. SWNK stuff + some stuff for a deadline tomorrow. And I want to work out too…
I woke up, showered, had breakfast and bought a car.

I bought an old Volvo 340 from 1990 for next to nothing. In near perfect shape. My first car at age 34, hahaha.

- Finishing Quantum Conundrum (game), not that great.
- Up next an hour of crosstraining. Which pretty much means I’m sweating a lot while watching terrible programs on the TV and thinking of better things to do.
- After that maybe a swim / eating and then watching a exhibition match of Ajax (Eredivisie Live) (Scratch that, misread something, not on Eredivisie Live).
- Later today a mandatory family birthday and besides that I might get some work done for SWNK / my own company.
Arrgghhh still trying to get some shit done, iam a lazy bastard.
Worked on one of my bikes and did some tanning. Consider going to see Poison Idea tonight, but somehow I don’t really feel like it.
Waking up all sweaty because it’s really hot. Taking a long walk (maybe four hours), settling down, starting off on a review I was working on yesterday. Now I’m completely exhausted.
Woke up around 12, started WhatsApp-ing with several people and before I knew it, it was 5 o’clock O_o
Took one of my bikes out for a ride, cleaned my apartment and now I’m about to watch some episodes of Arrested Development. Oh, how I love vacation.
The kids woke me up around 5.30. We started making some new Lego vehicels. Did some work between 7 and 8 and took my son to swimschool around nine. Back home to have a lunch and then of to the library to get a couple of new books, after that I picked up two friends of my son and went to a big playgarden where we spent the rest of the day playing soccer, running etc. A nice day off I’d say.
Since I got stuck on a project for a client (needs a serverside change I don’t have access too) I decided to spend half of the day working on the SWNK showlist (pretty much means I’m building a WordPress plugin from scratch for the first time). Hope to get it finished soon.
After work I did some crosstraining again and I took a quick swim, which was the best decision of the day. Now I’m going to dive into the couch and watch some TV. Don’t know what yet.
Such an exciting life haha.
Came out of bed at half past 7, went to work at 8 and woke up about half past 11. Did some bench pressing during the lunch break and slept again during an interesting CRM-demo/workshop, which took almost the whole afternoon.
After dinner I took an 5-hour energy shot, so hopefully I´ll stay awake while studying some boring shit about demand and supply chain management.
Woke my kid up at 7 to go to Apenheul (for you non-dutchies, a zoo with only monkeys and apes. Most of them (the smaller ones) roam free among the visitors) with a female friend and her two kids. We saw baby Orangutans and baby Lemurs, which totally made our day. Awesome day out.
the mailman woke me up with a neat package. the vinyl version of the red devils – live at king king. the cd is from 1992 i think… now finally on vinyl. im a happy man haha
Just had a 6 minute conversation with the fine folks of Microsoft Security (calling from a internet cafe or something in Nigera). So glad their customer support finds out when your computer is infected and they call to help you out. After 6 minutes I couldn’t contain my laughter anymore haha. So bad. I can’t believe people fall for this.
Best part was when someone took over the call. Not that your call gets transfered or something, no you could hear them switch places. Amazing haha.
I woke up, got mysefl breakfast and coffee and am now sitting in the sun internetting a bit. Reading up on facebook and a couple of forums and trying to decide who to lend money on Kiva. :-)
Today I’ll be working on the showlist a bit (adding / editing / deleting shows already works), a BBQ and some S&D recordings again. Sounds like a good day.
Started with getting up late and hurrying to work. Guess it’ll be the same the next morning…
Sat outside enjoying the weather, read some more Batman comics on my iPad, worked out, took a dive in the pool and did some more work on the showlist. Office Space is on now. Life’s good. And tomorrow it’s time for The Dark Knight Rises.
Landed at Schiphol at 3:30 this morning after a sick ass holiday in Mallorca with my bros (11 of them) and went to bed at 5:00. Slept till 13:00 and went to the Wateringse Wielerronde to support one of my bros who participated in this (and left Mallorca 3 days earlier because of this). Drank a few beers, shot myself a photo at the local fair (within 8 shots), ate some shoarma and now I’m at home, wide awake at 1:33 because of a fucked up sleep rhythm.
There wasn’t a single update on SWNK for 2 days, sorry for that, here’s why 
Friday: Waking up early to get over to my little sister to film her & her soon to be husband getting ready (make up / hair / dress / suit). And to capture the moment she walks downstairs the stairs ;) Went back home for a shower and to get into my own suit ;) Lunch / ceremony (I was glad there was a bunch of kids sitting in the front row doing funny stuff to look at during the emotional moments haha) / dinner / reception (picking a good spot so you don’t have to shake hands during the entire reception) / party / bed. Awesome day.
Saturday: Waking up halfway through the day. Feeling great (no sarcasm for once). Went straight to their house to start operation “remove 650 kilos of shredded paper snippets” that their friends donated to them ;) Holy shit, what a mess. Amazingly we cleaned up that place pretty fast (couple of hours) though. BBQ & some beers around the firepit closed off the day in style.
Sunday: Going to rehearse for the first time in a year or something with S&D? Looking forward to that.

Never understood why Dutch people get married on a Friday, then everybody has to take a day off
Yeah but you burn a day off, to go to the wedding of someone maybe you don’t like :o :o
Yes, in that case it’s different. But when you’re invited to someone’s wedding usually you like the person right? 
Most people get ‘free’ days off for next-of-kin weddings I think? Everybody marries on weekdays here, I’ve never been too a weekend wedding. Probably too expensive for us cheap Dutchies, haha.
I woke up this morning, read some stuff I did not like on twitter interpreting that info complete wrong and made a complete ass out of myself through Whatsapp with the girl I like. Go modern communication technology… 
My boss allowed me a day off too. Pretty kind of myself ;)

I woke up realizing Friday is my 35th birthday and i couldn’t care less about aging.
Had 4 slices of bread and went to work. March is my last month but i am happy i have a new job lined up from April 1st.
Watching the Alice In Chains Unplugged DVD got me in a very nostalgic and emotional state..Can’t really tell why..
Maybe the sudden passing of Onno and realizing life is unfair at times had something to with with it…?
Yesterday I (well, a good friend of mine…) transformed my old desktop computer to a media-server. Now I’m sitting on my couch with my laptop, having breakfast and coffee while looking at the old desktop and the mess in my room trying to gather the energy to clean everything up again. And wondering what to give my sister for her birthday today and blaming myself for not buying a present yesterday.
Woke up (without a hangover, yay), grabbed something to eat and started working (deadlines, deadlines…) while putting on the first episodes of American Horror Story. Like it so far!
