They’ve talked about their lyrics before in interviews (google it) and I’m talking to the drummer, not the singer, so I’ll rather focus on other stuff. Goldrush question was already on my list. Thanks though!
The demo should be released on vinyl.
Isn’t it just the best idea to ask one of the bandmember for a digital version of the both the SOM and Union Town demo’s? Also I could rip the 7″ version of the Union Town demo.
Next up are the Fight 7″, Scream recordings (for a comp including Bad Brains, Faith and MT, that never happend) and the Filler demo tape (unless that last one is still availible).
If anyone has any request, just holla!

Are you going to rip all titles on this list? Cause I think there’s a couple allready floating around on the internet (I think I got stuff from that list like Get the most (core values it’s called, I think) and Killing Frost (black tape)). At least I got some of it (as bonus?) when I downloaded a 7” I own. I also have a digital version of the State of mind demo somewhere (rip from the cd I own). Will look into making this available.I dont have any copy left of the RTTM 7″. I sold them all for a reasonble amount and never bought back a normal copy.
I wasn’t planning on ripping anything of this list unless requested.I can also rip vinyl, but often they are easier availible either on cd or as download and my list is too long to post, but if you have any request, feel free to drop it here.

This might be a special one for lots of kids as well. Not because it’s the Icepick – No forgiveness demo from 2003, cause many already have that. This link however has a different tracklisting, but most important: it also has two extra songs. I knew/know the guys quite well and on the demorecordings also Henk was part of the band (also known from Spirit 84, Dead Scenestars, Remain, …). So I got the original demorecordings from him (I think) before it came out on Jiggys’ Discontent records. On that recording the demo starts with an intro that they played on live shows from time to time as well, and continues with the awesome song ‘As ice’. In addition, it ends with ‘The undead’ that later came out on the Light the Fuse comp. 7″ as ‘Undead’. Check it!Thanks so much!!! I just downloaded them.
Do we have appraciation button here???!!!!!!!!!????
THANKS AGAIN!!!
PS: Are their any other unreleased songs???
THE LIMIT RECORDS just released a 7″ with two songs that were written after Goldrush.

Thanks but I already have them. Thought their would be more… :-)
I remember hearing a more rougher version of those two songs a year orso prior to the Quicksand 7″.

He meant a ‘demo’ version, not a harder version. And I seem to remember that as well, wasn’t 100 % sure though. No worries, I’ve got a ‘recording sessions’ question in there ;)
I believe the rougher versions are from a rehearsel session and were put on youtube. There might be more songs from that session, Pim should ask about that ;)

Thanks a lot Pim! Really looking forward to read it.Hey Nico,

No worries, I’ve got a ‘recording sessions’ question in there ;)I was unsure if it was some kind of demo, a rehearsel tape or maybe just a different mix hence I used the expression rougher version. I recall they wrote 6 or 7 songs for a full length.

Strike First – World Torn Apart (Chant Down Babylon Pre-Production) Recorded in Babylon
Unreleased track from 2004, played it a couple of times live. Lyrics became the basics for “the aftermath” track.
Can`t find the PROMO TAPE recordings. It was 2 tracks from the then upcoming “aftermath” lp and Raw Deal – Brightside.
We also recorded “show no mercy” from the cro-mags at that same “aftermath” lp session.Hope to find them soon.
I have those Robin! (quick reply from phone)

@Nico: does the Know Your Enemy demo contain different songs than their 7inch/cd-ep?
Yo Pim could you upload them for me, please?

I’ve also got an unmastered version of the “The Human Devil” 7″.
As for that Growing Cold demo. I’ve got 2 non-final versions of that. One without vocals and a first mix. No idea how I got those.
Other stuff in my NO-SHARE folder (where does Strike First tracks came from, and that final Razor Crusade EP was in for quite some time):
No Turning Back – 40 secs of a pre-recording for Damage Done

Tenement Kids – 2010 demos (no worries Gijs, I’m not sharing!)
Tenement Kids – Doves demos (I won’t tell anyone you’re listening to a shitload of Kane Gijs!)
Those Days – Demo (crappy Stab Back / pre-Said And Done oldschool side-project with me on guitar and a friend on vocals)
Said And Done – shitload of rehearsal / leftover tracksI can share this one though haha. Some time after we recorded Everyday we asked for the multitracks of the recordings. We ended up with a CD-R with Stef’s guitars to the left and my voice on the right. We probably had a crazy idea to do some crappy remixes or something. Anyway, I was talking to Kudel (Civil Terror, A Step Apart, STARVE, Dark Day Rising, Eye Of Judgement, every other band out there) on MSN and he suggested to do a remix himself. We gave him the vocals and the guitar for Your Downfall and this is what he came up with:

Pretty amazing
Pim: Thanx dude!!!!
Toni, Pim and Robin, I would to thank you guys!
That State of Mind demo is still great. I’m very happy to hear it again after a couple of years.

Unreleased track from 2004, played it a couple of times live. Lyrics became the basics for “the aftermath” track. Thanks, my tape is busted.
I remember during the Chantdown Babylon recording session, we (Strike First and Revealed members and maybe some ZOD members?) did a crazy sing-a-long on one of the songs, that was so crazy funny, was it saved somewhere?
I need to mail Davy anyway, want me to ask about that CD-R Nico?
Haha you can ask him, but to be honest I dont feel rattling up this. I have no troubles with Davy and I want to keep it that way. If he still has it, I would love to hear it tough.
Oh, no worries! I’ll ask politely, don’t have any beef with him either
Really like his vocals on the KYE-recordings.

I do remember there must be atleast of 40 minutes of different demo and rehearsel recordings of KYE out there. Davy promised me a cd-r many moons ago.The vocals on the demo tape are slightly different than the 7″ and some of the lyrics were sung at a slower pace on the demo recordings. We went back to re-record some of the guitar tracks and the vocals once Peter decided to release them as a 7″. For the record, we never put out a demo tape as such. The 50 odd tapes were sent to some labels, promoters and handed out to some people we knew. From then there were two songs on the One Track Mind compilation, which were recorded at that same session. The rest of our recordings were done at Moscow Studio (part of old DB). From those recordings, two songs ended up on the Downslide/KYE split and I am sure one song was never released. They are all on an advance CD from Studio Moscow. It is stored in my London apartement, so I will have a look once I am over there next. All together that’s the 40 mins of music Nico refers to :-).

Amazing stuff! I believe that first song originally was a KYE song that Arthur ‘donated’ to ASA.
Damaged Goods demo 2006, another great tape: http://www.mediafire.com/?4tmdw6qbwe6dr
Unfortunately, partly wma and partly mp3. Anyway, this awesome demo was the reason we offered to release their debut 7″.
